A number of short courses have been organized in the past for the research and development professionals from South Asia and also for international participants, e.g. from Ethiopia. CAZS-NR has been active in the field of natural resource management (NRM), participatory research on crop variety development and crop management and livestock management and production. Sharing the latest findings from our cutting edge research and development approaches provides research and development practitioners with very good insights and motivation for engaging into action in their home countries. This is one of the important activities of CAZS-NR South Asia as there are several research and development projects and community managed development initiatives for managing natural resources, and participatory research and development which provide excellent examples of natural resource management.
